The Glass Holder is Essential: Votive candles are designed to completely liquefy as they burn. You must always place the bare wax votive inside the provided snug-fitting glass holder before lighting. Never burn a votive freestanding.
Master the First Burn: On your first light, allow the candle to burn until the melted wax pool reaches the edges of the glass. This prevents "tunneling" and ensures you get the maximum 18-hour burn time from every candle.
Trim the Wick: Always trim the cotton wick to 5mm before every use. This guarantees a clean, steady flame and prevents soot build-up or wick "mushrooming."
Safe Burn Limits: Limit each burn session to a maximum of 3 to 4 hours. Allow the glass holder and wax to cool completely before attempting to move it or relight the wick.
Placement & Safety: Place the glass holder on a level, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, open windows, and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it strictly out of reach of children and pets.
